STAKEHOLDER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT AND REPORTING

Stakeholder Relationship Management and Reporting course will equip you with the knowledge and capacity to correctly identify and analyze stakeholders, evaluate and prioritize vested interests, and manage relevant relationships. Given the increasing awareness and value of different publics, the knowledge that you will acquire through this course would lend itself to the maximization of results – and minimization of problems – in your quest for creating a sustainable organizational endeavour. This course will help project personnel build and maintain robust project relationships by using the Stakeholder Circle® methodology (and the supporting software tools) to identify key stakeholders and then to manage the relationships between their unique stakeholder community and the project.

You will learn how to build and maintain an ongoing relationship with stakeholders to ensure success in your job.
This stakeholder relationship management course will guide you on how to effectively manage a wide variety of stakeholders in your job context, either its usual operation or a project. In this course you will be provided with all best practices, tools, and techniques to identify, analyze, and group stakeholders, develop and execute stakeholders’ communications management plan to ensure best outcomes from your work and meet stakeholders needs, expectations, and requirements.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:

• Describe the 4 steps of the project stakeholder management model.
• Identify and engage stakeholders in a project or program of organizational change to manage their  expectations and to ensure they remain committed and involved throughout the project.
• Identify stakeholder needs and how stakeholders impact your project.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, including quality and performance expectations.
• Know how to use a stakeholder register to track your stakeholders and their priorities and concerns.  Communicate your strategy to the project team, the customer, and other project stakeholders.
• Negotiate with multiple stakeholders with divergent interests.  Resolve conflict and competing priorities.
• Manage project conflict and organizational politics.
• Contain expectations through effective status reporting and progress meetings.
• Accrue 7 PDU’s towards retaining PMP or CAPM credential.
• Identify stakeholders relevant to an endeavor; undertake stakeholder analysis; engage stakeholders,  communicate and negotiate for optimal results; determine stakeholder power on the basis of their  relative levels of importance and influence; forecast and determine meaningful levels of participation  for key stakeholders; and create win-win outcomes in negotiation
