ITIL Capability PPO Training course expands on the general principles taught in the ITIL® Foundation course. As a result, the organisation can incorporate Capacity Management, Availability Management, ITSCM, Information Security Management, Demand Management, and Risk Management processes as part of its overall business-focused Services Framework. The course is assignment-based, with a strong emphasis on practical coursework and individual and group work. The module emphasises the practical application of PPO (Planning, Protection And Optimization) practices to enable capacity, availability, IT service continuity, information security, and demand management.
The PPO course is intended to help organisations and individuals better understand ITIL v3 Service Design processes. It can assist in ensuring that new and updated services, service management systems and tools, technology architecture, processes and measurement systems, methods and metrics are designed to meet user needs and will require little additional change once implemented.
This course focuses on operational-level process activities and supporting methods and approaches to executing these processes in a hands-on learning environment. In addition, this training prepares certificate holders to apply the practices throughout the Service Management Lifecycle.
