AGILE BUSINESS ANALYSIS Training Overview

In this two-day in-depth Agile business analysis course, participants will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to be a productive analyst on agile projects. The course focuses on skills for all three levels of an agile project: product level, release level, and iteration (sprint) level. Participants will work in small teams to build lean analysis skills and will learn how to do the right amount of analysis for the project team to be successful. In particular, participants will understand the role of the business analyst on an agile project, how to elicit and document requirements with stories and other rapidly developed models, how to prioritize requirements, and how to guide the stakeholders through the project.

There are no formal requirements for Certified Agile Business Analyst Professional.

IIBA doesn't provide any specific passing score. However, one must aim for scoring 75% minimum in all the knowledge areas and overall.

The Agile Analysis certification exam, formulated from the Agile Extension to the BABOK® Guide, consists of 85 multiple choice, scenario-based questions, and must be completed within 2 hours.

There is no prerequisite to undertake the training. To appear for the exam, you must have the following:

Education and Experience :

Work experience must be in a full time, paid role. Paid intern, co-op or any other coursework cannot be applied towards the work experience requirement.

Depending on your educational qualification, you must have the following number of years of on-the-job experience in one or more of the areas of the Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence Body of Knowledge. Candidates who do not have the requisite educational qualification must have 10 years of work experience.

Diploma—9 Years

Associate degree—8 Years

Bachelor’s degree—6 Years

Master’s or doctorate—5 Years

A minimum of five years of this experience must be in a decision-making position, defined as the authority to determine, execute or control projects/processes and to be responsible for the outcome. This may or may not include management or supervisory positions.

examination consists of 180 multiple choice questions, a four-and-a-half-hour exam and is offered in English only. 165 multiple choice questions are scored, and 15 are unscored. You will not know whether a question is scored or not scored.

It is an open book exam. You can take any book or binder in the exam. Loose sheets and multiple-choice questions are not allowed in the examination room.

You need 550 marks out of 750 to get certified. However, these marks are not calculated simply by dividing the correct answers by the total number of questions. Instead, ASQ does the balancing to ensure that the particular exam's difficulty is taken into consideration.

Computer-Delivered – The CMQ/OE examination is a two-part, 165- multiple choice question, four-and-a-half-hour exam and is offered in English only. 150 questions are scored and 15 are unscored. There are two constructed response (essay) questions.
